| The “How To Set Up Reason and Remark Codes for Commercial Payors” resource is available. This resource should by used by those agencies billing commercial payors through HIS (e.g., BCBS, Cigna, etc). Please note, HIS Help Desk can provide your agency with an Excel Spreadsheet and provide additional instruction for expediting the entry of your Group Reason and Remark Codes. | UPDATE: The Status Report has been updated (4/30/12).
Per Karen Tomczak’s commitment to the NCALHD, the following document has been updated: available for your review. Please make sure you read the two definition documents before looking at the spreadsheet so you will better understand it. If there are issues with HIS that you believe require intervention by Netsmart that you have already called in to the Help Desk but do not see on this list or that you identified but did not call in because you felt nothing would happen anyway, please call those in to the Help Desk no later than March 27. If you have questions about the spreadsheet itself, contact Joy Reed at joy.reed@dhhs.nc.gov.
